These are normally available in 4 full working days but please put your repeat prescription request in good time allowing longer than 4 days where posssible. The best way of obtaining your repeat prescription as quickly as possible is to use the NHS app for ordering. This is quick and easy and you will receive a notification when your medication is ready to collect if you sign up for the pharmacy text service. Register for the pharmacy text service either when you are next in the pharmacy or by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Ordering repeat prescriptions:
Repeat prescriptions should be requested in one of the following ways:
1. Download the NHS app on your smart phone or tablet and select your GP Practice. Once this is set up, you can order your medication directly from your medication list held by the practice and nominate your pharmacy. This is the quickest way to obtain your repeat prescription.
2. If you don't want to use the NHS app, you can register for Patient Access by phoning your practice to set this up. This links you to your patient record in the same way as the NHS app and allows you to see your medication list and order those that you need.
3. Post the list of medication you require directly to your GP practice (there is a letterbox at the Health Centre for this purpose if you are registered there).
Please avoid phoning unless it is an urgent matter and instead please send queries by email to: email@example.com or send a meesage under the "Contact us" section on this website.
