Most prescriptions are issued electronically these days so they can go straight to your chosen pharmacy (the one you have :nominated"Please note it is not necessary to use this form if you sign up with the NHS app on your smart phone or tablet. Please see "ordering your medication" page. The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) allows your doctor to transmit your prescriptions electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. This can save time in getting your prescription ready.
